Class description: Midwives, doulas and birth professionals come out and join us for this magical workshop. Rebozo Connection: The Gena Kirby Method with Allison Todrin.
What is a rebozo? A rebozo is a long piece of fabric much like a scarf or shawl that is hand woven with love. Rebozos have been used for comfort and connection during birthing for centuries.
In this workshop we will explore the importance of connection in the birthing space and how to use the rebozo to facilitate it. This class covers comfort measures, relaxation techniques an much more.
A bonus section on "Quantum Midwifery" and the Holistic Stages of labour (as per the teachings of the wonderful Whapio!) make this course one you can't miss!
*A Rebozo may be purchased separately from Allison before/during/ or after the workshop. Allison will provide Rebozo's for use during class time.
Trainer's Bio: Allison Todrin is a Dona certified doula, HypnoBirthing practitioner, rebozo instructor and all around birth geek. Hailing from Toronto, Allison is the mother to two children and one big 100lb puppy! Allison has spoken at several international birth conferences and even taken her work across the pond to South Africa to participate in the Zulu Birth Project.
