Hi, I'm Ashley! I am a mother of 3 wonderful boys and I live on a small hobby farm in Colchester. My support is tailored to each family based on their wants and needs. I offer care for baby and siblings, housework, meal prep, education, lactation/feeding support and emotional support. I have cared for families both at their homes and while staying at the hospital. Hello! I’m Kirstie, a proud mama to two daughters, and Elmsdale is where I call home. I’ve always been curious about people—what drives their choices and decisions. This curiosity led me to study Sociology in university, where I explored and researched the reasons behind human behaviour.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by pregnancy, motherhood, and babies. My journey to becoming a doula began with the support I received from my own doula, who empowered me to trust my body, its strength, and the natural wisdom of pregnancy and birth. After the birth of my second daughter, I experienced a deep shift in myself and realized I wanted to contribute to something bigger than myself. Over time, I discovered that my true passion is in creating safe, supportive space—physically, emotionally, and mentally—where birthing people can advocate for themselves and have the birth experience that feels right for them, whatever that might look like. Whether you’re planning an induction, a medicated birth, a cesarean, or an unmediated experience, I believe every birth is unique and should be honored with respect and care.
As a cisgender, straight white woman, I recognize my privilege and am committed to being a strong ally to marginalized communities. No matter who you are or how you identify, I would be truly honored to support you through your pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum journey.

Hi, I am Kari! I am a wife and mother of 4. My passion for birth work started when I had the privilege of being invited into the birthing room with multiple family and friends. Along with having our own children, it was the most incredible experience. Struck with awe to see the miracle of life unfold in front of my own eyes and to be able to support and encourage these women through it , lit a fire in my heart . I never imagined that I would be able to live this dream. Now as my children are getting older and we are in a different season of life, I am thrilled to begin a new journey to support women and their families in one of life's most memorable moments. I have come to respect how a woman’s body is created to conceive, grow, protect and birth a thriving healthy baby. Congratulations! For over a decade, I've been supporting families as they welcome their new babies. Trained as a labour & postpartum doula, and a childbirth and lactation educator through CAPPA, I am certified through BAI as a Labour Doula, as a Child Passenger Restraint Technician (CPSAC) and a LLL Leader. I co-teach prenatal classes a PACT as well as privately and work as a RMT. I am pursuing my passion of supporting folks through their prenatal, birth and postpartum stages of life. Having had twins and being the president of the Parents of Multiple Births Association (POMBA) has inspired me to focus most of my business on parents of multiples who seem to have to think about a few more strategies to survive the 4th trimester than what singleton parents do.
