Description: Our four week online workshop on family support raises the bar on our support models and solutions. The four week online workshop will guide you through lessons on such topics defining family support models, hot topics and policies currently related to Canadian families, resources and practices for diverse support, and more!  Each week students will receive a weekly workbook, audio and video lessons from accredited professionals, access to an online community, additional resources for client reference and mentorship from our experienced Doula Canada team. Some of the family models and support models we will discuss:

• Surrogate family support
• Single-parent family support
• LGBQT support
• Adoption support
• Cultural considerations and support
• And all the other ways we define our Canadian families in 2018!
